Tonight's game???

Recommended Posts

I guess if there is any chance of the ref calling it off due to a frozen pitch, this will only happen after he arrives.

Looks like we're going to have the same problem at Meadowbank !

Not yet Westy, you appearing at the Bridge tonight then?

That's the idea..... it's Tree's last game of the decade, couldn't miss that could I??

So you follow the cardinal year rather than the ordinal year? As the calendar did not have a year zero, the decade should surely begin on 1st January 2011, as the new millennium began on on 1st January 2001.

Unless of course Tree is not attending football in 2010.

On reflection, isn't a decade just a ten year period? regardless of the number??

Yes, unless you follow the ordinal year - but yes technically it is any period of 10 years.

the new millenium started at 12.00 january 1st 2000 so this is his last game of this decade

Spoke to gaffer about half hour ago,he said game is on

So when was year 0? And wouldn't it be 0.01 anyway :P

As far as we are aware the calendar started 1AD

:bolt:
