Juan Greame Tomlinson

Recommended Posts

Evening, So do any of you St Albans types know if our very own super striker Greame Tomlinson has turned his back on the Bedford and is ready to sign for yourselves? The word on the street is that he trained at your place on Tuesday night and some kind of decision was iminent. Although I would like to think he's just casing the joint for next seasons double I fear he may have completely lost the plot and joined the Albans.

BTW You know what happened last time you signed our super striker.........All together now " [color:"blue"]S [color:"white"] u [color:"blue"] P [color:"white"] e [color:"blue"] R [color:"white"] K [color:"blue"] e [color:"white"] V [color:"blue"] i [color:"white"] N [color:"blue"] s [color:"white"] L [color:"blue"] i [color:"white"] N [color:"blue"] n " <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Taken from nonleague.net or something

Ryman League Division One South club Windsor & Eton began their pre-season training on Saturday with all of last season's squad reporting back.

Joining in the session was manager Dennis Greene's new signings Keiran Gallagher and former Wycome Wanderers' favourite Jason Cousins, while also in attendance was former Manchester United winger Graeme Tomlinson.

Signed by Sir Alex Ferguson for £500,000 from Bradford City in 1994, Tomlinson (pictured) failed to break into United's star-studded side and moved onto Macclesfield Town in the summer of 1998 before having a two-year spell with Exeter City.

He was released by the Grecians at the end of the 2001/02 season and joined Nationwide Conference side Stevenage Borough before moving to Ryman League Premier Division outfit Bedford Town midway through last season. He enjoyed quite a fruitful spell with the Eagles but has rejected their offer of a new deal and is now looking for a new club.

BE, he's probably looking for a bigger club.

A bigger club than Bedford??

Maybe he'll sign for London Colney!!

Let's hope so. We don't want any more Bedford rejects at City.

Whatever.

It seems that he would rather play for the Windsor than for yourselves or of course I suppose he could just be on a bit of a scouting mission as I've heard the royalists have 1 or 2 good players but then again it begs the question:- well why was he at your place?

I think he may even live in your city so maybe he had 1 too many, decided against 'jumpin in the motor' in fear of loosing his licence for DD fancied a bit of light training so decided a game of netball was in order in his homely city. After driving for what seemed like hours he saw what he believed to be a bunch of girls, however, on closer inspection it turned out to be your lots training session.

Maybe.

I suppose Windsor made a bit of money from their Trophy run to the Quarter finals. Saw they signed Jason Cousins from Aldershot who'll be a good signing for them.

Nice to have you back BE.

For some reason a few people are tipping you lot next season - what's your thoughts????

Nice to be back, next term we will do ok and I reckon it will just carry on where we left off. Probably not going to win it but top 6 and a little bit of a cup run and lots of drunken away games singing our hearts out would make it a good season.

The thing is with Bedford is that we can without doubt beat the best teams but we can also lose to the worst teams within the same week.

Player to watch for this term is a 19 year old boy by the name of Drew Roberts.

How about the St Albans view on the imminent season?
