Would just like to say what a great job terry and his assistant are doing for the airport men, to be top of the league with no budget, I take my hat of its nice to see a club that is not to different to ours at BGU no money but a hunger to win.

 

My prediction at the start of the season is proving right; I feel Stansted will be in the top 4 with Enfield.

 

 

The rest of the places will be up for grabs from has many has 8 teams, it’s a mad league so tight, enjoyable but does my head in all these draws my team get.

 

 

Any way just like to say that Witham Town deserved at least a draw on Saturday if not more, meet there chairmen very nice man good luck for the season.

Thanks for your kind comments i will let Tony know of your post :grin: I think it was your club secretary in the boardroom, very nice man he gave my baby son a biscuit he had a child of his own there.

i was thinking the same...

They are the ones who tried to make out we had a budget of a certain amount, think they are trying to add pressure to teams like Burnham, Enfield, Bowers, Witham etc, i dont buy it either mate. Usually those like Stansted are the most payers from experience, it is them that start the rumours about other clubs. :signthankspin: (and tiptree at start of season)

 

Take the pressure off them.

Last time we gave you a game but you kicked the hoardings and punched them in anger,.... :futbolbud2: and it was only a league cup draw. What would you do if somenone beat you in a real competitionl. God help us all if you get knocked off the top.... :smashfreakb: Any fool can give it large when they are top but the real test of charactor of that person is when things dont go right and you proved you cant handle it.. Did you get disciplined by your club for your outburst.. :smilewinkgrin:

The only game I have seen between the 2 teams was at your place so I am at a loss as to why you keep on about hoardings.

 

Any way just heard that as a bonus for being Top the players are getting £1k apiece for Xmas.

Stansted are just a bunch of lads who play as a team and give their all, much in the mould of the Southend Manor / Hullbridge clubs in the ESL.

 

A few clubs wedging out have fallen short this year (So far)....although they are bound to improve.

 

Nice to see an ESL campaign not won by money like previous years by ambitious clubs. Definatley the most unpredictable and exciting season for a while
