Rhodes
I see that Langford have secured the services of Adam Wombwell from Southill Alexander who made his bow for the Club at Forde Park on Saturday against Welwyn Garden City, Southill Alexander's loss is very much Langford's gain
Rhodes
I'm amazed nobody has commented on this thread since I created it, surely Langford have landed the transfer coup of the season

Loose
Poor Rhodes, you must be feeling ignored. Alright, I'll throw you a bone. We'll obviously miss Adam, good skills - maybe better than we deserved at step 7 - maybe not, time will tell. Outstanding work ethic, super reliable and positive attitude. Really nice bloke. Good luck to him and an injury free career is all that we can hope for him.

Rhodes
Keeps - Well for once you are spot it, I think it's a first. Southill Alexander must have been heartbroken to lose a player of Adam's quality, I think Loosely is sarcastically suggesting that he may be injury prone, Darren 'sick note' Anderton style, but I wouldn't mind betting that he plays in every game for Langford for the rest of this season. Darter
Stop trolling on this one, Cliff. Adam is a good player, he played a couple of times for the League representative side and did well and that's when he was spotted by other clubs. He was very honest with us about it, and I think you may find he moves on again in due course, as several clubs were interested. No-one expects to hold on to the best players for long at Step 7 - and if you are really sincere about football, you wouldn't want to. It's the same when you have a team of people at work, the best ones are ambitious and move on to better things and it should be welcomed. Good luck to Adam, he's a very nice young man. Adam knows how we feel about him, I shouldn't have wasted my time answering you, you don't change. Bone throwing over.

Sal - So why do you suppose Adam agreed to move to Forde Park when he had numerous irons in the fire
