Swanning off to where exactly, you are talking nonsense?

Slough is a typical railway town with people coming and going all the time. I wonder how many people born and bred in Slough are left? So whilst Slough does have a big population how many of them would call themselves 'From Slough' after all a quick look on the Slough forum shows many of the die hards live far away now.

True to a certain extent, but there is no written rule that you have to stay in the town you were born in. I am sure some of the Windsor fans no longer live in Windsor.

Of course not but people who consider themselves from slough are far more likely to start supporting STFC. Doubt they'll bother if they live miles away to come down for a game out of the blue.

Anyway this has gone well off topic! If you want to carry on feel free to send a PM i'm sure everyones wishing we'd bugger off.

If there is a pitch inspection at Frome, make sure that Windsor Sec attends the ground, not sat on his a**e in the hotel. You know what happened last time you lot went to the West Country.

WR, At least I sit on mine as opposed to talking through it.

And I won't be there as I'm working until 3pm.

Nice one, Win Sec.

I make that game, set and match !!

Well done Windsor rebel, couldn't leave without posting something about the amount of fans eh? ;-)

But lets be honest, points are what count. You can have all the fans in the world, but we all know; what do points make.........

I reckon we will take between 20-30, NOT including players. Can't make it myself but if we have 8 on the train I would say around 20 is about right. Maybe a few more, who knows?!?!?!?!

I have to agree with Woody though, I can see a fixture list decimation this weekend, don't know what your pitch is like but if it is even slightly susceptible to the weather then its one for the pools panel.

What do you reckon the crowd will be then SWR, or do you dare not give away any clues to your guessing?

Many of you chaps coming down to the game tonight, mifght pop down and if so be nice to say hi

UTR!!!

Cant see what rebel has to crow about. W&E have had 200+ for the last 2 home games which aint too bad is it & as said previously, its the QUALITY of the fans not the quantity, which is why i rate Fromes fans as the best in the league!!

Our groundsman is really good & unless its a really hard freeze theres NO reason for it to be off. Weve not lost a home fixture to the weather yet.

Coz its the last saturday before Xmas it probably wont be as high as could be but even so we'll have 200 fans i reckon. 50+ of those will be behind the goal at The Clubhouse End. Probably the most vocal home end in the league but youll see that for yourselves

Tonight? Well, its been between 30-80 so far so ill hazard a guess of 30 coz of xmas, midweek & already been there! I shant be going as its just too far from cornwall for a midweek game, plus i drove to Brentford last saturday for the game against leeds which pretty much wiped me out. £80 petrol!!!!

This is what some of our lads think itll be:

You're sour tonight, Windsor Rebel. Dole cheque late, was it?

Clearly you've got a lot to complain about, anyway. Try the Samaritans, they may pretend to care about what you have to say... it's more than anyone here will.

Come on and contribute or keep it elsewhere. Thanks.

Put it this way southwestred, you wont have to stock your bar up for the travelling Windsor hordes, maybe one or two cheap pints of lager should suffice.

Sorry Rebel but i wont be rising to it & take the piss out of W&E fans. Bit more respect than that as im only a "guest" poster on this forum. Saying that, i do have a laugh when you & them start on each other.

So come on then, how many fans do Slough take away? & please dont fill me with bullshit as i probably wont believe you!!!

Southwestred, what you need to understand is that Windsor Rebel's constant sniping is borne of bitter jealousy.

Now, far be it from me to vomit copious amounts of bile all over his treasured Slough town duvet set, but here in Windsor we have our own ground, a big castle, an interesting and varied nightlife...and a mascot.

Feck me. In the summer we even have a big wheel, which affords spectacular, panoramic views of the Great park and the playing fields of Eton.

On a clear day, you can just make out the famous " vines of Slough," heavily weighed down by the most sour of grapes.

If they ever put a big wheel up in Slough, it would only be used by those wishing to leap to their deaths from it's highest point, such is the unrelenting misery that permeates from every pore of that Godless place.

So cut the bloke some slack.wall.gif

Even without the goalkeeping comedic errors, it was still a deserved 2-0 victory (no exaggeration). The Frome #10 is really quite classy, big *and* fast, although I'm sure he might have had less luck if Bedfont had actually tried to tackle him when he ran at them...

Good game for the neutral fan. Cold, though.

SiD, be fair... if they put a big wheel up in Slough, the Britwell crew would steal it the first night. (and probably try to get the framework up on bricks, just out of habit).

And it'd be on sale in Chalvey two days later. At a markup, but discount for cash.
