Well the forecast now says 0 degrees and light snow by 6pm... I might check down, but that sounds like a recipe for frozen pitch and match called off to me.

 

If any of the Bedfont guys are reading, will they be doing a pitch inspection beforehand (I imagine Frome would be glad to be warned early if the match won't be on...)?

Might pop down, but won't decide until Tuesday. I was thinking it could be an opportunity to see how Frome are playing, and Bedfont for that matter. Drop me a text Tuesday afternoon and I'll let you know.

These are our match reports for our last 2 games. Before playing W&E we hadnt kept a clean sheet. Since then weve played 5 & kept 5 clean sheets to make it 6 on the bounce!!! On the downside to that weve only scored 4 goals 3-0 & 1-0. NO WOODY, WERE NOT JUST PARKING THE BUS!!! Were now 14 undefeated under Darren Perrin & attracting higher league players. Were suffering a lot of injuries making it difficult fot DP to field a consistent full strength team but have good strength in depth demonstrated by our incredible run.

I am not going to big up Windsor ahead of the game because, as Totton found out, you can be made to look very silly. All I would say is that you are clearly on a good run d so are we,so hopefully a good game in store, but not many goals if our defences are anything to go by.

 

Oh, and I hope you don't just "Park the Bus" as a more open game should be very entertaining. at our place there was an air of a defencive minded set up and you can rightly say that a point at our place was well earned. you may disagree but you could also argue that a point at your place for you wouldn't be a unwelcome. Of course we both want three points but sometimes you have to be realistic and accept a point.

 

Good luck for the season, just not this Saturday (if the game is on).

Agree with all you say Fuzzy. Im sure it will be a great game. Yeah, i suppose a point at home against you would be welcome but with others around us having games in hand all 3 points are needed to keep us in touch with the play-offs. Already asked on another thread but how many fans are W&E likely to bring down? Would like to know to give me a better chance of winning this weeks attendance sweepstakes. How many do you reckon?

But lets be honest, points are what count. You can have all the fans in the world, but we all know; what do points make.........

 

I reckon we will take between 20-30, NOT including players. Can't make it myself but if we have 8 on the train I would say around 20 is about right. Maybe a few more, who knows?!?!?!?!

 

I have to agree with Woody though, I can see a fixture list decimation this weekend, don't know what your pitch is like but if it is even slightly susceptible to the weather then its one for the pools panel.

 

What do you reckon the crowd will be then SWR, or do you dare not give away any clues to your guessing?

 

Many of you chaps coming down to the game tonight, mifght pop down and if so be nice to say hi

If there is a pitch inspection at Frome, make sure that Windsor Sec attends the ground, not sat on his a**e in the hotel. You know what happened last time you lot went to the West Country.
