The guy he shot was total scum and thanks to Mr Martin the world is now a better place.

 

I've been burgled twice, and on both occasions the Policeman told me it was probably some scummer from Luton. They actually caught the first guy, and it turns out they were right.

 

A possible solution is to implement the "three strike and you're out" policy for these kind of people: three burglaries and they a hanged.

We were burgled when I was younger too, Laz, and the invasion of your privacy is fking horrible.

 

I don't think people who haven't been burgled can really understand it.

 

By the same token as Librarian's veggie remarks yesterday, perhaps anyone who hasn't been burgled, should not be allowed a say in the Tony Martin matter??

I've been a victim of crime as well.

 

Poverty makes most people resort to crime, until quality of life is sorted out then we will always have a problem.

 

People seem to harp on about people breaking the law but Tony Martin had a gun - which is illegal as well.

 

He could of shot him anywhere to restrain him but chose the back, whereas I have no sympathy for burgular scum he could of handeled it better.

yeah right...did you see the piece of filth on the TV with his 'compo' walk for the cameras as he went into court to start his 'compensation claim' against Martin....

this man is a career criminal who has (self admittedly) burgled 100's of houses...

 

both of them deserved what they got and its only a pity that Martin didn't kill the second one...

 

I haven't been burgled but my 80 year old mother has and she's never been the same since....

 

one of my vans was nicked on saturday....needless to say the police couldn't even be bothered to turn up....'Pikies' they said....'nothing we can do.....we're not allowed onto the sites...'

I have been mugged twice and never felt the same, but each case has to be dealt within its OWN MERITt or every suspected rapist would be send to prison by people who have been raped and every suspected burglar would be send to prison by everone who has been burgled!!!

 

As on the van issue then the police have beena disgrace on that issue they should look for the van and get a warrant !!!!!
