How long will it be until the middleclass hard working white man who lives by the law of the land and is prepared to fight for his country when ever called upon is going to stand up against a forever ignorant government ,who forgets that it is these people who are the heart of this country. It is important to look after your Hair and nails because these will help your appearence and help you gain sucess but if you dont look after the heart youll find that te body will no longer function and will infact die.

If the following 3 things happen under the Labour government i believe we should take arms and revolt.

The banning of Fox Hunting.

The joining of the Euro

More taxes aimed at the middle class.

Dont ever feel intimidated to voice your true opinions as so many have recently done and it is because of this intimidation that we are in this posistion today, a country without a strong identification of who we really are.

The middle class will never revolt they have to much lose also generally people who rebel have little prospects unemployed etc. wheras the middle calls are employed in good fairly secure jobs.

On fox hunting most of the country acctually supports a ban so you wont get a revolt on that

On the euro it would to big a risk for new tories to not consult the people but having said that even if the messiah didnt consult the great unwashed the new tories would probably still win the next election as the old tories are in such a mess

Taxes should be equvilant to income you may have a few revolts their

When was the last a revoltion happpened lets see the Glourious Revoultion in the late 17 th century

Nice speech Costello. Who spelt it all right for you mate <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

In responce:

Nobody cares about fox hunting (see previous thread)

The euro will only be joined if it makes sense, and all the major parties would do this. The tories go on about being pro-pound (although one suspects that was a election gimmik) but if the euro takes off and the bottom falls out the pound what choice will you have, whoever was in power would have to go for it. I suspect it'll be labour because no other party is in a position to challenge them so the time will come.

As for the middle classes, they have already said there will be no tax rises for the 'rich', and the geezer who said there should be was shot down in flames - the middle classes have never been better off, it's the working classes that get a raw deal still - anyway there is already a sliding tax scale in place and it has been for years.

I think a revoltion on these 3 points won't be on the cards.

Good rant though mate <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

perversly new labour has managed to tax the [****!!****] out of the middle classes leaving the rich fairly unscathed.. the poorer sections of society will always be fked whilst indirect taxes on petrol fags beer etc consume such a large proportion of their wages.. personnally im with costello on this.. middle class civil disorder can onlt be fun.. no one gets battered or stabbed and the govmnt shits their pants, the petrol dispute was hughly amusing, massive problems but backed by most people
