For securing their own ground at Chase Lodge, Nellie kept that one quiet:

Keeps - I thought the article might have at least given me a mention and acknowledged the part I played in the Project, albeit in its infancy

Blue Gate Alan - Well out of common courtesy really, it would have been a nice touch

Can't this just be kept for congratulating Kentish Town? (That was your intention in starting the thread Rhodes?).

Well done Kentish Town and everyone who worked so hard for 15 years!!

Loosely - Well that's right, it's a great achievement although I couldn't help noticing that the previous Chairman wasn't mentioned by name and he did a hell of a lot for the Club over a long period of time, see the article below, would Nellie have done that:

I'm quite certain that everyone truly involved are currently basking in the glow of a well deserved victory in achieving something monumental and do not feel the need for personal recognition, the article thanks EVERYONE involved (presumably you too), some get a mention and I'd think the thanks list must have been well thought out for a very clear, concise and well written article.

Can't get your link to work so not sure what thats about.

Once again, well done Kentish Town!!

ps - leaving now while the going is good.

Loosely - The link works fine but here is another version just incase. You will know all about having to put your hand deep into your pocket and that's what the previous Chairman did in order to save the Club, all I'm saying is that I doubt Nellie would have done that:

Keeps - Shouldn't you be asking Nellie that question, 10k is a lot of money

Rhodes, I am very pleased that you can see your way fit to congratulate KTFC but once again you have to try and knock the club.

The reason you were not thanked was because you had absolutly no part in this whatsoever.....it never was and never has had anything to do with youor the past chairman no matter which way you try and say it has.

I will do what what I feels is right, appropriate and neccersary for Kentish Town Football Club.

I very much unlike the last chariman ...will not go to the press or anyone else and state her business with Kentish Town FC, I am a strong believer in these things should be kept behind closed doors.

Shame you cant think the same way.

From

A very very proud Kentish Town FC Chairman

Loose

Thank you for your comments, they are appreciated. Yes the people that had ANYTHING to do with this were thanked as you stated.

The people who had nothing to do with it were not mentioned.

Once again thanks for you comments.

Well that's certainly not the case, what about the previous Chairman, myself and particularly Clement Temile who was instrumental is raising the entire profile of the Club

I must have misunderstood....I thought we were talking about CCFSA (KTFC and Hampstead FC)working very hard to enable us to acquire Chase Lodge. If I am correct then the three people yuou mention above have not had anything to do with that.
