Meanwhile, Aylesbury United have re-signed their former captain, Enzo Silvestri, 28.

 

The midfielder, who played eighty games for the Ducks in two spells at the club, has been a free agent since leaving Leighton Town at the end of last season.

 

Silvestri (pictured) joins left back Rickelle Christian and forward Gary Wharton, who both signed last week on loan from Blue Square Premier side Stevenage Borough along with another forward, Ben Clarke, who returned from Ryman League Premier Division Margate.

He was good enough Fred, well what I saw of him anyway but IMO was more a super sub to put on for last 20/30 mins, so yes, maybe he didnt want to be a bench warmer?

Ben played for Aylesbury last Wednesday as a one off to get some valuable playing time while he tries to secure a place in our starting line up, Ben is 100% committed to playing for Margate.

OOOOOOPS only open my mouth to change feet. Sorry for sounding negative, but with a very large turnover of players over the last 18 months, you kinda get used to seeing a player for a couple of weeks and then never seeing them again. It was not my intention to upset players or management with my comments, and if it is the real Steve Beeks posting here, welcome aboard and thanks for the information.

Thanks for the info - apologies for spreading rumours (I don't think it's a habit of mine), shouldn't trust that Non League Daily!! I only read the article because I was interested in their ground share troubles!
