Predictions for Saturday?

Just because they are bottom; i'm not sure that gives us any god given right to expect a win.

Bognor will equally feel that against a club in bottom 4;they can take the points today.

Should be interesting;and whilst unfortunately, my expectations are not high for today; i won't get too down as long term it will be ok.

I'm on a different laptop today and have'nt got the link to the 'game live forum'

Could someone kindly post the link please.

Having stated that i would take a draw i guess i have to be content with the result;but for me it would be so much better had it been a nil-nil or even 1-1.

not there today, but i can go to the park and watch pub teams play out high scoring draws.

I want to see football played like a game of chess-not this kamikaze stuff.

Somewhat disappointed that after 2 months, the defence has worsened under MB 's guidance.

It does seem he favours attack over defence.

Are we back to the nightmare trott days of 'we'll let in four so we'll try and score 5 ?

I would not have been happy with just a point pre match but having been 1-3 down with not that long left at least we showed spirit in coming back so definitley a point gained today albeit against the basement boys from Bognor. But its the same old story with the defensive inadequacies which seem to have blighted us ever since the Kinnear era came to an end.

Bognor's home record is poor so we should be looking for something

Not so bad at home!

9 out of their 11 points have been gained at home. (10 home games played)

HOWEVER

8 out of their 10 home goals have been scored in the second half

We need to hit them hard in that 1st 45.

Now 10 points out of their total of 12 have now been scored at home.

Goalwise another 3 second half goals. That brings their tally up to 11 out of 13 home goals all scored in the second half. Didn't they take the hint?? Were these statistics not taken on board?? Why did we not have a plan to restrict them in that second half rather than once again "giving" an opposition goals & point/s.

Hit them hard for the 1st 45!. Hah! ,not hard enough it seems.

Well, so much for my positive thinking pre-game.! Am furious that we yet again make errors at the back & give away a lead.

We are fit enough theres no argument about that as we can certainly come back near the death (have done so previously too).No more excuses saying we can't yet last the full 90 minutes. We should have learnt some lessons by now & these stupid errors must not & cannot continue.

This is all down to their minds i.m.o.

A day with a shrink to sort their heads out might be more beneficial maybe. Take a day off from training to get their heads sorted out thats what I suggest. To get them believing that to go in front shouldn't be too much of a surprise to them,to instill into them the belief that they can actually win a game front going in front.

If you're reading this MB give it a try. It it can't hurt to try it! Rant over!!
