Superb result which strangely (and nobody probably would have thought this at the start of the night) takes us top again as Hitchin strangely lost 3-2 at Soham. After Saturday's result that is very welcome!

Burnham beat Chesham 2-1 scoring with minutes remaining after Chesham had their keeper sent-off and hit the bar twice when Chesh were leading 1-0. Bury won 8-2 at home.

Strange turn of events tonight where everything seemed to change in the Chesham, Hitchin and Slough games at almost the same times during the night.

We've also now beat our points total of two seasons ago when we were 'relegated' on 36 points and it's not even Christmas!

Well done boys!

Excellent result, well done Slough!

Looking at the league table, we go back top, as Hitchin lost 3-2 to Soham (90th minute own goal from the look of it) and as it stands only Hitchin, Burnham and Bury can overtake us on games in hand at this stage.

I know we won 5-2 against Barton but 8-2?! That's crazy. Funnily enough that's put them above both us and Hitchin on goal difference by quite a way.

Top of the league once again! :)

Yes another great result after Saturday's disappointment especially after the sloopy start(we never seem to start well)good turnout from rebel supporters on another awful night weather wise lets hope we can keep it going on Saturday "COME ON YOU REBELS"

Bloody hell, i wasn't expecting that result after seeing we were 1-0 down with not long left. We really don't know when to give up this season.

Excellent result in attrocious conditions.

Playing against the wind and driving rain in the first half we should have taken the lead early on when Sean Sonner was just about to head the ball into the net when Simon Martin, not realising what was happening, kicked the ball of Sonner's head and from that Arlesea broke away and scored!

We found it dificult to get going in the first half conditions but showed some real fight to come back and Dean Harpers celebration when he scored the winner was priceless.

Absolutely brilliant result, it was well worth getting wet for!

Loved the way Dean came over over and celebrated with the fans like the old days, only trouble was I behind a flipping barrier and as I am not as nimble as Radder's and Co couldnt bloody well get out!!!

Well done guys and well done to Marcus who didnt get lost and arrived in time for the game.

What a night , both teams were battling through wind and rain ! It just seamed Slough were battling up hill all the way and not making much

headway in the last quater of the pitch ...Aylesley were coping with most things and Slough looked to be going no where at times !

Then the game sparked into life with some extra push by Slough and we got the break we deserved as Aylesley had been restricted to very

actual few clear cut chances ! Slough contolled most of the game but just could not break through , until the 73rd min ! then a quick goal followed

and Slough were back and fighting ....one scare though in the last min ..had us all gasping ! but we hung on ... Brilliant .. result...

well done you battling Rebels...

cheers for great result.... chris

Also forgot to mention, my brother was watching (or listening) to the Kettering V Leeds game and Slough got a mention as apparently one of the players coming on for Kettering played in the Walsall team that we beat in the F A cup.

Good day all round really.

I imagine that was Darren Wrack.

Great result last night, and Hitchin losing was a bonus
