Shame they didn't film our goals,especially Joseph's.

Notice the feeble efforts from Keister & Stubbs in the tackle PLUS Reid being "easily" hoodwinked..The efforts out of defence from the corner initially leave room for improvement too looking again at that. All things that need addressing by MB I would have thought. A good training video for him I think.

A Harrow first (o.g) that should have been fully dealt with.

Both COULD have been attributed to o.g's looking at that but less so their second.Still,you can how see they were first to the ball every-time despite our many blue shirts in that area.Shame really because up until they scored that first we were doing exceedingly well in that respect.Harrow didn't look anywhere near like scoring up till that point.

CONCENTRATION & NODDLE went missing,similar to recent games I would imagine.Oh & probably the thought that 2 goals in front was enough though with better defending it really SHOULD have been enough!

 

Apologies but I'm still "fuming" even now, at us having dropped those two points. Two points that should have been thoroughly deserved (until the last 15 minutes obviously)

It seems that the Harrow video camera has a malfunction whenever a goal is scored against them. The cutting room floor must be at least 25' high in discarded film.

Oh for a clean sheet again (eh Michael ?) 2 of them in 16 games is pathetic.

If we can get just 2 clean sheets in a row (sooner rather than later) I'll add £20 to the prediction league total.If we can get just ONE I'll add a tenner! (including Cup games)

Apart from the all important prediction league; you may have noticed that i have given up on clean sheets and don't 'concede the nil' for the last season and a half.

 

 

Reality has set in and with the squads over these 18 months it was never going to happen so pointless hoping for it.

 

best one can hope for these days is -'don't concede more than one'

 

Maybe next season can hope again for clean sheets.

 

Whilst continually advocating MB;i do have a concern that he is going to be more attack minded than defence minded-and do i detect an undercurrent of 'trotskyism'- we'll concede three so we'll try and score four.

 

That no doubt will please many who love this gung ho football stuff-worries the pants off me though-give me nice boring defensive 1-0 wins all day long.

Think both harrow goals came from free kicks,and both when we were making substitutions.thought the golden rule was not to make substitutions when defending free kicks.

Super.Cheers for that. I THOUGHT Blackman was putting in a cross for his deflected goal. At the time I couldn't believe he didn't shoot. Great work by Curtis.But hey,it turned out okay in the end.Shame the final result didn't.
