I see that Tiger Woods is finally back to his brilliant best, just in time for the US Open, and won the prestigious Memorial tournament in Ohio this weekend, the great man fired a blistering final round of 67 to win by two shots and earned a tribute from golfing icon Jack Nicklaus who was in attendance to see Woods join him on an incredible 73 PGA career wins. Woods appeared to be out of the running during yersterday's final round when bogeying the tenth hole leaving him three shots adrift but a birdie at the fifteenth followed by an impossible chip in from the rough on the sixteenth hauled him level into the joint lead and it was just a formality from there. Nicklaus told Woods that the sixteenth pitch in from a downhill lie in the rough with water just behind the flag was 'the gutsiest shot he had ever seen in my life', that coming from The Great Bear himself said everything.

I'm glad to see Tiger back on top form.

 

No matter what, he is still one of the best golfers in the world, and what happened in his private life should have remained private. So long as the guy isn't doing drugs or abusing kids then so what.

I congratulate Andy murrays Doctor who prescribed him a new Viagra pill for the tournament. This enabled him for the first time ever to get past a Semi.

Oh, I so loved watching the Tiger ballsing up his last 18 !

 

He found more pot-bunkers and rough than he would probably ever find on an evening out to a night-club.

 

The man is a sulky wanna-be. In my book he is a has-been.
