Tiger Woods

get's worse....

The giant management consultancy firm Accenture has cut its sponsorship of Tiger Woods, saying the golfer is "no longer the right representative".

Woods has been engulfed in a media storm since a disturbance outside his house two weeks ago. He has since admitted being unfaithful to his wife.

Woods is taking an indefinite break from golf to try to save his marriage.

Accenture is the second sponsor to react to the news. Gillette has already said it would cut back Woods' role.

"For the past six years, Accenture and Tiger Woods have had a very successful sponsorship arrangement and his achievements on the golf course have been a powerful metaphor for business success in Accenture's advertising," the company said in a statement.

"However, given the circumstances of the last two weeks, after careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising.

Accenture said that "it wishes only the best for Tiger Woods and his family".

Save his bank-balance, more like !!!!!

Personally I think Woods will be back on the circuit in a month or so once the dust has settled and it will be like nothing has happened, his fellow pro's, particularly the likes of John Daly and Sergio Garcia, will have wry smiles on their faces and there will be a lot of back slapping going on, it's a man's game afterall.

Apparently Tiger Woods has been spotted partying with one of his alleged mistress's, Rachel Uchitel. Reliable sources told a US tv show that Woods and sexy Uchitel were spotted holding hands at a party in Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday, the show's Website also reported the pair partied the previous night at a Club and that they may well be living together in the Florida resort.

That'll probably cost him another 5 million $ :bartshocked:

I have never seen such a grovelling pitiful little excuse-giver in all my life. :smashfreakb:

I see the great Ernie Els was highly critical of Tigers little oration !

Big JR - I actually beg to differ, I thought Tiger's apolgy was very much from the heart and genuine and it took a lot of courage to do what he did. It now seems like his wife Erin is going to stand by him and I can see Tiger not only returning for the US Masters at Augusta on 8 April but winning the tournament comfortably

Although Erin was humiliated by Tiger's antics she will know that it's in her best interests, as well as the children's, to let the dust settle and stick with him, he's still arguably the most famous sportsman of all time and the best golfer there ever was so her name will go down in history as well as his, if she leaves him she will be a nobody

Greg Dyke - Yes but money isn't the be all and end all, I'm sure she would rather be with Tiger at the end of the day and as a family with their two young children

Greg Dyke - As you know I'm not one to blow my own trumpet but I note that Tiger has announced his return to golf at, wait for it, the US Masters at Augusta on 8 April, I wonder how many shots he will win it by

Coup - If you're a betting man I suggest you have your house on Woods to win the US Masters, as you know he knows Augusta like the back of his hand and could play the course blind folded

Seeing as he couldn't drive out of his own driveway, without hitting a tree, then I am less confident :bartshocked:

Big JR - I wouldn't bet on it if I were you, a round of 67 or 68 today for Woods should be more than enough
