Tiger Woods

Recommended Posts

What do members make of his indiscretions with various women resulting in a now tarnished reputation and newspaper headlines such as 'Wife Went For Tiger Over Birdie' and 'Tiger Had Me In The Rough', I know he is only human at the end of the day but if I had a wife like his I would never want to look at another woman.

saw that - this is thereport from the BBC Website and the report from FX in the USA

A woman has been taken to hospital in an ambulance from golf star Tiger Woods' home in Florida. It came after a 911 emergency call was received from Woods' home in the gated Orlando community in the early hours.

TV footage showed an unidentified woman - who is not believed to be Woods' Swedish wife, Elin - being wheeled on a stretcher into a nearby hospital.

Last week, Woods apologised to his family for letting them down amid speculation about his private life.

The statement on his website - in which he referred to unspecified "transgressions" - came days after he was found bleeding and semi-conscious after his car hit a tree and fire hydrant outside his home.

The crash fuelled speculation that he had had a dispute with his wife.

Woods has been married to Elin, a former model, for five years. The couple have two children.

'Life support'

On Tuesday morning, a spokeswoman for the Orange County Fire Rescue service told the Associated Press that medics had responded to an 911 call from the gated Deacon Circle community in Isleworth, near Orlando.

An adult was taken to Health Central Hospital in nearby Ocoee, the spokeswoman said. Police confirmed the emergency call came from Woods' home.

Orlando television station WESH said a radio log showed an adult woman had been transported from Woods' home to the hospital.

The log showed the patient had initially refused transport, but was later listed as an advance life-support patient, WESH added.

TV pictures showed a blonde woman being taken through the hospital entrance to the emergency room.

Unconfirmed reports said the patient was "middle-aged", adding that Woods' mother-in-law, who lives in Sweden, has been visiting her daughter.

Blood test results

Woods' car crash followed a story in a US gossip magazine that he had had an affair with a Los Angeles cocktail waitress.

The 14-time major champion was later charged with careless driving and fined $164.

A police report on the crash that was released on Monday showed that a Florida Highway Patrol trooper had suspected Woods of driving under the influence, and sought a subpoena for the golfer's blood results from the hospital he was taken to after the crash.

Prosecutors rejected the request.

Ian - That's really amusing, I see you can lighten up if you want to. I suppose when you way this whole sordid episode up Tiger Woods is only human at the end of the day and if he has women such as Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Grubbs, Kalika Moquin, Jamie Jungers, Mundy Lawton, Cori Rist and Holly Sampson literally throwing themselves at his feet everywhere he goes no red blooded man is going to be able to resist.

Ramsgate60 - Well who would want to bring shame on Woods as before these revelations broke he was a hugely liked, admired and respected guy all over the World, I wouldn't mind betting that once the dust settles and all the fuss blows over it will all be forgotten and he will go back to winning tournaments without breaking sweat

get's worse....

The giant management consultancy firm Accenture has cut its sponsorship of Tiger Woods, saying the golfer is "no longer the right representative".

Woods has been engulfed in a media storm since a disturbance outside his house two weeks ago. He has since admitted being unfaithful to his wife.

Woods is taking an indefinite break from golf to try to save his marriage.

Accenture is the second sponsor to react to the news. Gillette has already said it would cut back Woods' role.

"For the past six years, Accenture and Tiger Woods have had a very successful sponsorship arrangement and his achievements on the golf course have been a powerful metaphor for business success in Accenture's advertising," the company said in a statement.

"However, given the circumstances of the last two weeks, after careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising.

Accenture said that "it wishes only the best for Tiger Woods and his family".
