Maybe Rhodes is just touchy on the subject. I've no idea why a concerned remark about the frail mother of a middle aged man living with her should be such a problem. Maybe he is embarrassed or something, I wouldn't have thought there was any need to be.

Well I beg your pardon Rhodesy, I had no idea you were so sensitive about it and as Horace says you've mentioned her on here a number of times and as a middle aged man still living at home which you mustn't feel in the slightest embarrassed about - lots of blokes of your type find themselves stuck in that situation. Besides perhaps you shouldn't have brought the subject of New Year up and who would be spending what with whom if you didn't want it to bite you in the bum!

 

As you say (but so often drift off on a tangent all by yourself) you are better sticking to the topic in future.
