Amanda Knox - Guilty or Innocent

Hookey - I bet Loosely will be glued, sorry, super glued to his tv tomorrow evening picking out all the negatives from the programme in order to post them on here

Missunderstood - In what possible way could it be uncomfortable, I'm particularly looking forward to what the slippery Patrick Lumumba has to say.

He'll probably say "That bitch got me banged up for 3 years"

OK so it was only 2 weeks. He may be slippery, I don't know but unlike Knox. he was innocent of any crime.

See Rhodes, you are the one who is obsessed, talking about me when Hookey's comment had nothing to do with me.

Talk about mental issues lol.

Loosely – So you won’t be watching the documentary tomorrow evening then

I might do Cliffy, maybe I'll record it on the sky telly box thingy if I can work it out. Is it going to be worth it do you think? Can't say that I always have time for these things, isn't there footy going on somewhere, sometime?

Hookey - Was he though, I'm not so sure, Lumumba and Rudy Guede's paths must have crossed at some point

I just thought I would set the scene for tonight at 8.00pm, I hope you don't mind. The eagerly awaited documentary, made by Cineflix and ITN Productions, will recount the details of the 2007 murder of Meredith Kercher and the next four years of hell for Amanda culminating in her acquittal earlier this month. Channel 5's Michelle Chappell, commissioning editor for news, current affairs and documentaries, said 'the case of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito has gripped the World for four years and this documentary attempts to unravel some of the unanswered questions and shocking mistakes surrounding the high profile trial'. Don't miss it folks.

One of the unanswered questions could be how a convicted liar was found not guilty of murder.

Hope the programme lives up to expectations though, as it has all the necessary ingredients.

I recorded it and watched it after footy. What a load of garbage! "The Untold Story" my foot! It was just a re-hash which told us nothing new.

Good enough for me thanks. I'd recorded it due to footy commitments but glad to know I needn't bother. Cheers!

I found the programme rather interesting, and from what was shown tonight it looks as though forensic incompetence was entirely to blame for a possible murderer being released. We will never know for certain who really was responsible for Miss Kerchers death, but what the the programme did show was that Amanda Know is a fairly unpleasant person.

Missunderstood - What on earth brings you to that strange conclusion, are you sure you watched it or did you mistake it for Holby City. I would say that the programme, which as Horace said was largely disappointing and pretty much a re-hash, showed the total opposite

To me she come across as devious, manipulative, and a very self obsessed young lady who tried, and lied to frame an innocent man, who could easily have spent twenty five years in prison because of her lies.

I think she was trying to divert attention from the real killer, who many still believe is her, and the Kercher family will likely never get the justice they deserve because the money Knox will now earn will ensure she can afford the best legal brains available in the event of a possible retrial, and lets be honest, many lawyers care less about their clients possible guilt than they do about the massive fees they charge.

Who saw the pictures of Amanda getting into the spirit of things and dressing up for Halloween on Monday, it's great to see her letting her hair down isn't it so soon after her horrendus four year ordeal:

Missunderstood – I always had you down as a fair minded individual who would give someone the benefit of the doubt, it was the media who portrayed Amanda as being devious, manipulative and self obsessed and you appear to have fallen for it hook line and sinker

If she had not have broken the law and have been a decent citizen she would have been fine in Italy.

RalphC - But Amanda was a decent citizen and didn't break the law, that's exactly the point, she was minding her own business in Italy when she was falsely accused of Meredith Kercher's murder and subsequently arrested, charged and convicted in a kangaroo Court

RalphC, Rhodes can't explain why Knox isn't appealing against her standing conviction if she is whiter than white. Of course, currently Knox is thinking that she got off lightly but the story's not over yet is it?

Loosely - I wouldn't say that Amanda thinks she got off lightly however under the circumstances she found herself in, through no fault of her own, she was probably content at the time to just get on that flight at Rome airport to Heathrow where she and her devoted family were rightly 'wined and dined' in the British Airways VIP lounge for a few hours until boarding their connecting flight to Seattle and a welcome of England 1990 proportions. I wouldn't be surprised if Amanda's lawyers are compiling a case for her compensation package as we speak.
