An excellent behind the scenes Youtube link of Amanda's homecoming, a lot of credit has to go to Ted Simon, the families Attorney, who left no stone unturned to ensure her eventual release:

An ABC News interview with Amanda's amazing Father Curt following her release, that's what Fatherhood is all about isn't it!:

I see that CBS television will be airing a special report on Saturday entitled 'Amanda Knox - The Untold Story', I'm sure it will reach these shores or we can view it on line afterwards. I would give my right arm to be in Seattle at the moment, it must be like Berlin in November 1989:

What do you want for chopping your head off? Flight, Hotel and spending money? Let me know, I'll see what I can do.

Missunderstood - Well that goes without saying, incidentally for your information all my six children are from the same Mother. What amazed me about Amanda's Father Curt Knox, and obviously her mother Edda for that matter, was that they put their lives on total hold for her and were determined to clear their beloved daughter's name come hell or high water, they knew full well she wasn't capable of hurting a fly let alone murder and you really have to take your hat off to them don't you as well as Amanda's siblings who must have been through four years of the worst kind of hell imaginable.

No her name hasn't been cleared but it has of murder and to be honest, that's all her and her family care about.I doubt she will want to go back to Italy to try to get that overturned,I wouldn't,I would be staying in Seattle for as long as possible,i know some of you find it hard to believe but some courts do make mistakes, tamper with evidence, police get false confesions from people etc etc,She could be completely innocent altogether for all anyone knows. The fact is she was charged with murder, appealed and in front of a jury and the worlds press and governments was found not guilty of that crime.

RalphC - Yes but Amanda was wrongfully imprisoned wasn't she and her name was cleared in Court last Monday, what are you talking about. If you are referring to Patrick Lumumba that's a different kettle of fish altogether and, like I said, it wouldn't surprise me if he knows more than he is letting on about Meredith Kercher's murder.

Her conviction of 3 years on a charge of slander for accusing bar owner Diya "Patrick" Lumumba of carrying out the killing was upheld. So her name was not fully cleared.

How can it be different?

How can it be different?

RalphC - Er, hello, the slander charge is totally seperate from Amanda's wrongful arrest, charge, conviction and imprisonment for Meredith's murder, the same goes for when she accused the Italian Police of violent conduct whilst she was being interrogated. Like I said there's no smoke without fire and it wouldn't surprise me if Patrick Lumumba and Rudy Guede's paths have crossed at some point, Guede must have frequented Lumumba's bar in Perugia particularly as they are coincidentally from the same part of Africa, Guede from the Ivory Coast and Lumumba from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

RalphC - Er, hello, you'll have to get used to Rhodesy's particular brand of logic on here as illustrated by his poor understanding of World Geography. Cote D'Ivoire being about 2000 miles from The Republic of Congo. Bit like Rhodes trying to make out that an Englishman and a Greek finding themselves in Perugia would naturally associate.

Now you can see the sort of faulty logic you are trying to debate with.

Yes but my point is that if two young African guys bumped into each other in Perugia, particularly if Guede went into Lumumba's bar for a drink, they would inevitably get chatting about their homeland and strike up an immediate friendship, therefore I'm almost certain that Lumumba knew Guede but failed to admit that to the Italian Police.

Yes Rhodes, your point being similar to two europeans meeting in the USA and even having cultural and maybe religious differences striking up an immediate friendship which would not necessarily happen. Within Africa even the same country can have different tribes who are viciously and historically opposed to each other and you are stereotyping two nationalities. It's just another example of your ignorant racism but no big surprise.
