I see that Amanda has returned to the University of Washington in Seattle to complete her education which was so cruelly cut short when she was unceremoniously caged for over four years in Italy for a crime she didn't commit, good luck to her:

She was imprisoned for a crime that she did commit and did not appeal against. The period inside the jail was not on the charge of murder.

If she was that bothered about her education she wouldn't have gone to Italy in the first place, unless it was part of her degree!

I may have posted this year old speech previously but it's certainly worth watching again, a powerful and heartfelt presentation at the Rotary Club in Seattle by respected Judge and Vietnam veteran Mike Heavey speaking about the failure of the Italian justice and Police systems in convicting Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito of a murder they certainly did not commit:

I'm not sure if I've posted this before but it is certainly a comprehensive summing up of the damning case convicting Knox and Sollecito of murder when you consider that over and above the only 2 pieces of DNA evidence the defence attempted to draw confusion to, that there were over 2 dozen other separate items of DNA evidence placing the pair at and during the crime.

 

I think most readers interested in the truth of how the Knox and Sollecito case developed might want to read one of the best articles I've yet to see summarising the evidence and fairly examining suggested motives assigned originally. Further in part 2 an excellent assessment of how the Big Knox PR machine swung into action, how it was funded, some of the underhand tactics employed and perhaps most worryingly how Knox was turned into the victim in the case, totally forgetting Meredith Kercher in the process.
