It will mean that she has not been cleared and will be sentenced to a period in jail.

 

I am sure she will be extradited to serve the time. Italy has such an agreement with the USA.

 

If not, would you be happy that someone found guilty of murdering a member of your family has escaped punishment?

Sollecito kept evidence of Amanda Knox guilt from police because he hoped she would marry him and that they could attempt to stay in the US to avoid the trial folks! Pretty damning stuff and I do wonder if he's done a deal now.
