What the injury to their player was i wonder?

Angels Lewis Hamilton clattered into the pitch side railings and seriously injured himself. Ambulance called and he was stretchered away.

Wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.

Another win and another clean sheet.

I thought it was well deserved; the winner well taken by Kersey. The last 20 minutes were a bit alike the Alamo but we seemed to deal with the endless corners and crosses quite well.

Terrible ref who loved the sound of his own whistle.

GWS Hamilton, it seemed a nasty collision with the metal railings.

Make no bones about it, this was a fantastic result against a team that on paper at least looks very strong indeed.

To me these improved results are because the team seems to believe in each other now and are playing for each other with everything they've got. Of course we'll lose games along the line but if they can continue to show this kind of spirit then I'm more hopeful that we can do enough to improve our position.

It was a pretty even game really, both sides can point to good missed opportunites and again as time went on we sank deeper and deeper and struggled to retain the ball up top. It was all hands to the pump towards the end but the merits of having a big lad at the back was clear as Wild seemed to win everything. Good performances in most areas but i'd give MotM to Kersey I think - another clean sheet and the winning goal.

The referee was abysmal but at least he was the same for both sides - I don't think I've heard a ref blow his whistle with such gusto and so often for a very long time - We don't pay to see you mate!!

The only dampener on the day (apart from the *issing rain) was what looked like a nasty injury to their full back when he crashed into some very sturdy looking metal railings. Hopefully he'll make a speedy recovery.

Onwards and upwards - hopefully some of the others will get a chance if the Aveley game ever gets played!!

Come on you Blues!!
