Looks like we won't have any proper photos of the R&D game for the website and programme.

 

In order to do pitchside photography you need a Conference Photographic Licence. These are only issued on a whole season basis and you have to have £2m liability insurance in case a player ends their career crashing into you. Fair enough I suppose, but this costs £15-£20 a month, and they won't let you just have the insurance for one day or one month, you have to have a whole season's worth of insurance to backup the whole season licence.
