The Darkness are kind of like what Guns 'N' Roses would sound like if Robert Smith was their singer!

The Darkness are good!The lead singers strange..always wearing the same sort of tight suit thing,opened down the middle and he has a womans voice,that said they are good. A friend of mine went to see them and he loved them.

I'm listening to the full version of November Rain at the moment. At 8 minutes 54 seconds, it's the epic to beat all epics, great guitar solo at the end!

I've got an 8 minutes 55 seconds version! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> I like november rain,its a good song,but it doesn't REALLY start to be a great song until THAT solo(which starts at about 7minutes in...)

It took me an hour and a half to download November Rain on MP3 on to my computer but it was worth the wait!

I'm not a huge maiden fan,i like some of it,but a bit it's all a bit similar. Now led Zeppelin,i could listen to them all day long!

Now I find Led Zeppelin a bit too weak for me.

 

I like the 'Immigrant Song', but some of the other stuff I've heard, (Ok I admit it's only a few tracks) doesn't really get my head nodding, if you know what I mean! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Tend to agree. That solo at the end makes the song. I've heard it played alot on the radio and half the time they cut most of the song including the end solo so it sounds like some poncey love song!

Now Led Zep, 'Stairway to Heaven' that is a real epic!
