Fantasic result considering it's a cold Tuesday evening with a 2+ hour drive there.

 

Great to see us top as well, although a little misleading with Hitchin's games in hand.

 

I know I say this a lot, but really is two massive matches coming up now against two promotion rivals. Bury's away form is excellent and Arlesey's home form is too.

 

However, lets worry about that after tonight.

No matter how many games in hand the others have on us, it's great to have the points on the board at this stage. And it should act as a big confidence-booster going into a home game against another one of our main rivals.

Just got in after a lengthy drive home and well done to the 16 who made it over to Sudbury tonight. Crash on the way there held up traffic about fifteen miles outside Sudbury and led to the kick off being delayed.

 

Superb performance first half. Played some great football, neat interchanges and fully deserved to be in front. Sat back a bit in the second but until the last ten minutes, didn't look to be in any trouble. Sudbury had begun to put themselves around the pitch a bit more and a few tackles flew in, on both sides. and they grabbed a goal with about a minute of play left.

 

Excellent surface which was condusive to both sides playing some good football, some great banter with the keeper and Radders and I made a friend in the first half.

 

Both our goals caught on camera and should be online tomorrow evening/Thursday morning.

I was very pleased to hear about this result last night, I was at Southampton v W****** last night, and Saints pulled themselves out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win, so all in all a very good night!!!

Well done lads, to be top is special even with all the other teams' games in hand. Hopefully we can keep up this run of good form in the run up to the end of the year.

Yep,they have no excuse for not bringing at least 50 as it looks like they are quite well supported at home. Also, some of our floating support may hopefully return now that we are

having a bit of success.
