The FA don't do themselves any favours

Barnsley v Plymouth saturday, game called off in second half due to a waterlogged pitch.

Score doesn't stand but a player who picked up a yellow card(his 5th of the season)is now banned because his yellow card stands.

To add to that,a plymouth player who missed the game through to suspension, now misses the next game as the FA says the game didn't count on his original ban

Seems to me that the FA don't know their ar$e from their elbow

so bookings shouldn't then,ridiculous!!!

I agree about minor yellow cards for dissent or handball etc. They should be expunged from the records.

On the other hand, if say a player commits a violent act, e.g. a headbutt, or a career threatening over the top tackle, should he escape punishment just because the game is abandoned and is then considered null and void?

this is how it works- F A Staff who have a good well paid full time job with the FA can make mistake after mistake and the clubs can do nothing about about it, unpaid club volunteers who also have full time jobs elsewhere make one mistake and they are crucified and im not talking about myself here, one day i will slip up but so far ive remained one step in front.
