One of the most pleasing aspects of being on the MISA committee is being very aware of the support shown by the fans particularly financially in our 'hour of need'. (Or should that read months/years?!) Normally we have the opportunity to thank well-wishers face to face or at least by correspondence. Sometimes this isn't possible; recently a note arrived in the post from an anonymous exile who had in his or her's own words 'had a bit of luck on the horses'. With the note was some cash, recognising that with the lack of home matches the club was struggling to meet its' financial commitments. MISA would like to thank the donor and everyone else helping a difficult situation by buying raffle tickets, calendars, etc.
