Strong performance against a side on a good run of late but really we out played them in most departments. Could of had more than 2 goals if we took our chances better but we've just dished out abingdon's biggest loss, apart from the keeper from last season!!!, so all in all a great result

This was a great result and Wharton, Seedle and Osubu stood out for me today. Overall a good all round performance. We kept the ball well and kept the pressure on them. Fair play to the keeper who had a good bit of banter compared to that **** last year. He even shook my hand after the game as he came off the pitch which showed good sportmanship. Totton is going to be the crunch game as they are top of the league on goal difference with a game in hand.

Thought we looked really good on Saturday. For the first time in what seems like ages the weather didn't affect the game in any way. Both sides seemed to be trying to play football however we looked a class apart. The first goal was excellent, from defence to attack in a few seconds without thumping the ball forward. It was probably the best team goal I've seen us score this season.

 

The reporter on BBC Radio Oxford gave Windsor a glowing report. He reckoned we were the best side he'd seen this season and like last season we're a premier division side in all but name (his words not mine), he also singled out Bruce Wilson for particular praise.

 

We've had a tough run of games recently against sides that have been in form, to still be undefeated is a great achievement at this stage of the season.

The test could be against the likes of Hungerford. Teams that allow us to play football (normally by trying to play attractive football) or who sit off us get punished. Those taht close us down quickly and mix it up seem to disrupt our play. Look at Evesham for example, it took them to a second match to get their tactics right. If Totton try to play nice football it could be to our advantage as opposed to a team that give us no time and, although not technically better than us, don't allow us to play. Beaconsfield last year was a prime example.

I wonder if, like last year, we are just starting to get our rhythm and learn how to play together. Tuesday will be another test, I think the players will realise t his and hopefully another top preformance to set up the biggie Saturday.

also, well done to Victor, settled in well and scoring plenty of goals. What was his first touch like Saturday, as that has been his weakest part of his game so far. But a cracking signing who, in my opinion, will get better and better as the season goes on and scare the bejesus out of defences. He also takes the pressure off of Chenns and this should lead to a hatful of goals for him as well.

That said you and Mrs Cat singing along to Brother Beyond was... it's own way a highlight. Great backing vocals Mrs Cat. First Joe le taxi and now this...is there no limit to your talents!
