Maybe mate, but you dont see too many games called off over at Southchurch - and thats without spunking 7 grand on the pitch!!

Nothing wrong with Southend manors pitch, so what if theres a bit of wind if the ball is played on the floor, there wont be a problem

There is nothing wrong with their pitch the main problem is simply the wind which tends to ruin many matches there.

I was over there at the end of October, so about 4 Saturdays ago. Looked ok to me, but i was not on the pitch, so will have to bow to you on that.

Pitch was more than ok up until a week or ten days ok.....considering it rained for 3 days constantly before and during the Burnham match, I thought the pitch was in great nick all things considered.

 

Also, Manor played much more football than Burnham on the night....maybe your little boy does'nt like getting his legs dirty.

Ooh Touchy - I wont call you mate, I also suggest you get a grip you complete tool.

 

For a start, dont start pipeing up just because Burnham are finally having a decent season after years of wasted money and constant failures.

 

Secondly Southchurch may be awful (Your opinion) but they still play in the same league as Burnham Ramblers and have done for a long time.

 

No Southend Manor dont have a full time groundsman, no player budget but what they do have is a hard working commitee, decent players who enjoy a beer, a laugh and do well considering our limited resources to attract players.(Many of whom could easily play for other clubs with nicer grounds). They massiveley over acheive every season to be fair.

 

As for lunch....if its a burger and a beer, I would never pass up the opportunity as would be evident if you saw my current gut during injury (Or at the best of times)

Southend Manor is a good ESL club run by well respected officials and the players are a close knit giving 100% to the cause.Now jog on and swim back to the river crouch

look at hullbridge and manor getting loved up two teams that wont come near to top 4/5 i think its sweet.
