Is this true Fleet Boy? Oh my God it is, just seen Ceefax. I can't believe it. He had a heart attack on the pitch playing for Cameroon against Colombia.

 

I remember he signed for the Hammers on the same day as Di Canio. I had the poster on my wall of them two for ages. He was superb for Man City last season. I remember him getting sent off for West Ham when we beat Arsenal for having a punch up with Vieira.

 

He was not a great player for West Ham but I have to admit I'm absolutely stunned. My condolences go out to his family.

 

R.I.P Marc, we'll never forget you at Upton Park.

West Ham fans never forget forget former players.

Foe may not have been the greatest player ever to appear in a Claret and Blue shirt but he contributed in a succesful period for the club and I imagine there'll be many other Hammers feeling a sense of grief and shock right now.

Yes, I feel sad because Foe was playing for West Ham at a time when I used to watch the Hammers quite regularly. When Bobby Moore died it was sad but when it's a player you've watched and cheered on from the terraces it's just such a shock. It really makes you think.

I saw on ITV news that when they were talking about him, they showed a picture of Jermaine Defoe! It was rediculous! but they did apologise later. But even so, its still disrespectful.
