C.A.A.
I think the mitoo league table needs looking at, surely the lowest points should be at the bottom of the table not second from bottom, or have I missed something. shows WGC bottom with 9 pts then Haringey with
tringarmy
For anyone interested, have a look at Aylesbury FC website, great photo of their pitch, now thats what you call waterlogged!! Anyone for model boating?? Wasn't surprised the game was off today but didn't think it would have been that bad
thecoldend
Good evening everyone, I managed to fit in a double header today...Firstly went to Woodson Park V Totternhoe which was a scrappy but entertaining game played out by two tough tackling teams.. Woodson just about shaded it though... Only £2 to get in...Bargin!! Then went off to Forde Park to watch Langford 4 Oxhey Jets 4...Fantastic game and entertainment... Oxhey were 0-2 up at half time but Langford who brough on forward Mark Wright at half-time who made all the difference brought it back to 2-2....Oxhey went 2-3...then 3-3...then 3-4 and finally 4-4... It was freezing at Forde Park but worth it!!!! Rhodes/Loose - Adam Wombwell was playing for Langford and although the defence let in 4 goals he looks a good player...Tim O'Mara on the left wing for Oxhey also impressed me. Full marks to Langford for reducing admission prices to half-price today... £2.50 was brilliant value. .Both sides deserved a point!! I always love going to Forde Park as the tea-bar is very nice indeed and the club is very welcoming. I've uploaded loads of photos and footage of Langford's 2nd and 3rd goals and a "controversial" offside goal. http://www.thecoldend.blogspot.com - the world famous cold end!! Happy New Year everyone for Friday....May all your new year wishes come true

thecoldend
"thecoldend, its Wodson Park rather than Woodson Park" AWK - I stand corrected, I've been to Woodson (sorry Wodson) Park about 25 times and have always thought it was Woodson for some reason...There are some trees around near the stadium... Its not the first and not the last mistake I will make.... thecoldend

Rhodes
Premier Division 4 4 Langford v Oxhey Jets Red Robbo from another's Forum was also at Forde Park yesterday: Langford (0) 4, Oxhey Jets (2) 4 Spartan South Midlands League Premier. Attendance 82 Admission (holiday special) £2.50 incl prog Well, this was a match to blow away the post Christmas turkey blues! Two teams that wanted to play football on a surface that was very good considering the recent weather. Oxhey Jets took a 2-0 interval lead with two excellent goals by a very impressive Luke Beardsworth. Within ten minutes of the restart Harman and 2nd half substitute Wright had levelled for Langford and it was game on. Beardsworth was a constant threat and scored his third of the afternoon to regain the lead for the visitors on 68. Within four minutes Wright had scored his second for Langford to tie it all up again. It was Wright that came so close to his own hat trick and giving Langford a 4-3 lead, but his "goal" was denied by a assistants flag for offside. Instead within minutes it was Oxhey that took the lead for the third time in the match and it was that man Beardworth on hand with his fourth of the afternoon. Back came Langford again to equalise through Ben Le'Honore three minutes later with just four minutes remaining. No further goals but it could have gone either way as both teams continued to look for a winner. Great game played in a good spirit and all credit to the Langford people for getting this game on making a good day out.

Thanks for pointing that out - I will get them to include the points deduction for WGC so it looks more sensible. Please let me know if you find any more bugs. thecoldend
TheColdEnd - Thanks for this information although I expect Loosely won't thank you for reminding him that Adam is now at Forde Park.. Loosely will know players come and go during the season at this level of football...I'm sure S.A.F.C will be okay and win a few more matches to move up the table. The game at Forde Park yesterday was one of the best i've seen for a while...
Loose
The Coldend you are quite right and whilst Rhodesly will find it a convenient barb to try and sink I'm glad to see news of Adam and hope that he is settling in at Langford. He won't have been happy at being part of a defence that let 4 goals in though, he takes it very personally and I'm sure will review his game and work on any self perceived shortcomings. He really hates not winning.

garibaldi
Went to Hanwell yesterday. First time I've seen them this season. Good display to beat a Colney Heath side who would have gone top if they had won. Even game until Hanwell got a second half penalty to go 2-0 up. After that, Coney Heath seemed more interested in arguing with the officials, particularly their number 10 who seemed aggrieved all afternoon. Hanwell have now won this fixture 7-1, 5-1 & 5-0 in successive seasons so maybe there was a feeling of "here we go again" once that penalty went in. Can't see Colney Heath finishing near the top on this performance. I was surprised to see Hanwell in mid table but checked their results in the programme. They had an appalling start but have now won 5 of their last 6 games so would expect them to finish much higher, though probably too far behind to have any chance of promotion.
