Posted from the real SSML forum, (with permission) "Day off from the SSML on Saturday as I had a line on the FA Academy U18 game between Arsenal v Chelsea (1st v 2nd) and not according to Rhodes a Greek wedding. Game was played at Arsenal's superb training centre at London Colney and was won by the home team 2-0. For Rhodes' information, the appointment was from the London FA and I did not have to wangle it. Rhodes
According to today's Tottenham Journal, Haringey Borough v Royston Town is likely to be off on Monday although I think that goes without saying: Loizou backs frozen-out Borough to deliver 23 December 2009 THE freezing weather which has rendered Haringey Borough's pitch unplayable in recent weeks has ensured January will be the club's biggest month of the season, says manager Tom Loizou. Flooding at Borough's Coles Park ground has prevented Loizou's side from fulfilling a home game since mid-October, and the recent snow and ice means it is unlikely their scheduled home clash with Royston Town on Monday will go ahead. With Haringey's away form showing no sign of improvement - they have lost their last five on the road - Loizou admits this is his most difficult time at the club. "January has become very important for us, as long as the games go ahead," said Loizou. "We've had so many games cancelled recently, and although it's the same for other clubs, we have to train on our pitch as well so that makes it even more difficult. "But we still have time to put things right. It will just be a case of having a ficture pile-up at the end of the season, so we need to make sure we have as many players as fit as possible for February onwards. Loizou also believes Lloyd Opara (pictured, right) will soon be back among the goals, claiming the striker always finds his feet during the second half of the season. "We just need to get the ball to him," added Loizou. "He's played for me before, and he always comes alive during January and February.

Rhodes
I see Luton v Histon is off today (Saturday), does that indicate that Monday's games at The 61 FC and Brache Sparta are in doubt
tringarmy
I see Luton v Histon is off today (Saturday), does that indicate that Monday's games at The 61 FC and Brache Sparta are in doubt Not necessarily, Luton's game was postponed on Christmas Eve due to a frozen pitch. Most of the snow has gone this way now but pitches are wet after rain today and the snow melting. Brache was never great from memory & I've only ever played at 61 in April

As this is a Bank Holiday I am therefore available. In the words of the great Aleksandr Orlov...simples.
