The Wood Saturday

After the Lord Mayors show, it is now down to the business that is without doubt the bread and butter. A return to New Lodge for some ex Blues, but this is where we now need to concentrate on. A win would continue the "confidence" building exercise before the team embarks on a period of away fixtures. Would assume some injuries are healing and hopefully no new ones were picked up over the last couple of games.

It will be a tough game with Wood handily placed for themselves in the table, but "if" the team are now gelling then this "could" be a springboard to get some much needed points on the table

Come On Town !

its feeling like a BIG GAME another must win, but we are on a roll and confidence is good, we can make this the start of a winning run in the league, don't want to sound desperate but we desperately need 3 points.

so excitement is building, never an easy game these days, but I'm sure the lads are up for it..

Come on Brian (and Barry) that bottle of wine is waiting ! :champis2:

I've got a feeling we won't be bottom of the league at 5.00pm Saturday.

It's going to be a tough game but we can do it by showing the determination and spirit that has been seen in the last two games.

Boreham Wood are something of a bogey side for us, but sometimes bogeys just have to be picked! I can never remember beating them at New Lodge. Be interesting to see how we line-up with BWG, Wild, Bailey-Dennis, Street and Osbourne all available. Forget Rushden for the time being, this game and the away game at Tonbridge next week are more important. With home attendances down and away support dire, everyone's support is needed.

I agree. We focus on what is immediately in front of us...and this game is a must win. No pressure lads.

I hope we line up 4 3 3 as follows:-

Walker

Macca, Oates, Kersey, Cousins

Slatter, "Cchampagne" Shinn, Street

BWG, Baker, Green.

Bench: Bricknell, Chatting, Wareham, Bailey-Denis, Pond.
