Have been wound up in the high court today.Isn't it about time the FA and government actually stop this happening in some way,not sure how but it seems clubs are willing to spend more than they have in the HOPE they can get to the promised land of league football or a higher level than that they are at.

Maybe fans have to take blame sometimes for getting on teams/clubs too often

Rob it will never end...it happens every season to some club around the country. One would imagine that if the debt of 99% of the Premier League clubs was ever called in then there would be no Premier League.

Thousands of businesses go to the wall for the same reason every year but football has always been treated in a different light. Does seem laughable that the Linnet's bill - £65k - is half a week's wages to some in the higher echelons. Then again, if the truth be known, that is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Such a shame to see a club like King's Lynn go to the wall. They get excellent crowds of over 1,000 most weeks and have the potential to more than hold their own at Conferance National/South level.

Don't think the authorities helped by dumping them in Conference North last season meaning they had to do alot more travelling than being in the South. They then got chucked out of Conference North because there was a slight problem with their ground and again got dumped in the Unibond rather than the Southern League.

This can't have helped their finances one bit.

Looks like, they'll have to reform in the Ridgeons League.
