Cracking game with end to end stuff from the first minute.

 

On the first half performance, we were talking about how many players would be left on the park at 90 minutes! Some interesting tackles and challenges kept the fans in fine voice.

 

My MOM was Adam Wallace. He ran all over the place and was unlucky when he hit the post from close range. Hammond - what a find!

 

Well done Town.

 

By the way. I made my way into the ground and purchased a goalden goal ticket two minutes after the start of the game. My ticket was opened to reveal 'One Minute'! I will not be doing the lottery tomorrow.

 

The performance of the ref left a lot to be desired. If Andy Jones had been playing I doubt that he would have lasted. In the face of extreme provocation from the Concorde players and their bench I am impressed with the discipline shown by the Town. Rudi appears to have learnt that if he keeps his head he stays on the pitch and the team benefits.

 

Well done everybody.

 

 

I thought the team are playing very well together, something is gelling in midfield which is good and needed, defence and forwards are coming good...at least we can finish games with 11 men. As for Andy Jones, with the midfield playing as they are he is not needed and would be more of a liability than an asset, Rudi is doing a sterling job as the hard and tough midfielder we need. Keep the squad as it is - this is the winning unit....
