If we were to win tomorrow it is a game we can win and then get a bigger club further in the draw with a bit more money than playing them in the first round,truro and gloucester is a long way away especially truro (must be 9-10 hours on a coach)

lets just concentratre on getting chelmsford out the way first

Indeed mate,had we been playing tonight for the possibility of a game against conference opposition this forum would of been buzzing but it is as dead as a damp squid.

Come on chaps,we have a game against connie south opposition at the bridge,probably the biggest draw we could of got in terms of numbers at the bridge from an away team,lets be positive and get behind the guys

chelmo fans hardly seem convinced,most of them are going for an extra time win against them,we are in the ascendancy having scored 3 goals to come back at them and now they have to come down to us where the pitch is not what they are used to,hopefully a partizan crowd and wind speeds of 30mph

lets be positive and maybe we may get a draw against a conference big side in the round after next,we have a cracking chance

well i have just spent a most enjoyable half hour reading the chelmsford soap box. good work there rob, although thought you would pipe up in solidarity of a fellow ginger...

 

i've been up for this game since the final whistle. glad of the replay to get some extra cash for the club, but i think if there was another couple of minutes played on saturday then we'd have finished them off.

 

re: next round - if we lose tonight, then i hope chelmsford have to replay at truro. (aren't they kimble's 2nd team? lol)

 

will be in the yeoman from about 5.20 until 6ish, then off to the club to get some more shouting juice inside. i may well grace the eastside with my presence this evening (unless it's cold or i'm thirsty lol).

i wouldn't worry about them boycotting due to your postings - that's them just getting their excuses in early. "we'd have bought 2,000 fans over, but one of your fans called us muppets on our messageboard..."

 

hopefully the obnoxious minority we met at their place on our last 2 visits will have evening curfews and ankle tags on so won't make it tonight and we can have a few drinks, a few laughs and a singsong or two with the hardy few souls who make the 20 mile trip down the a12.

 

as an aside - i think uefa should seriously consider playing champions league matches on a wednesday and thursday as this will probably have an effect on our attendance tonight.

anyone with half a brain would see that the liverpool match is irrelevant as they are more or less out and the arsenal game is a mere formality

haha your not wrong there mate, after watching them in the vase final a few years ago and winning about £100 thanks to the result i cant have a bad word said about them....although their fans are slightly inbred (to be expected tho)
