Henman's won, he's crap, I hate him, so many people like him because he loses in the semi-final every year, what would happen if England did that in the WC? 18 different managers, obviously. I hate him. What English tennis needs is a 'Gazza' or a 'Tuffers' or a rugby player, someone to liven things up a bit, do drugs, play matches drunk, beat up ball boys, push umpires' chairs over, or at least commandeer them and drive them around.

As I've already said more than once on this forum, the British tend to applaud their losers. Tim loses in the semis? "Ah, bless him. Well, he did ever so well to get there. He's a winner to us".

 

Well. He ain't a bloody winner to me. He's a loser.

 

Why do the aussies (normally) always win everything? Because their media does not tolerate losers. That's why.

I've just worked it out. From now on, any English sportsman should, at every slightly good piece of skill, punch the air in a waist-high upward motion (with a clenched fist), put their head down and say 'come on' to themselves 14 times.
