I don't think its necessarily the case that Hockton went for more money.

I think players are often very unfairly castigated for that-and it could well be the case this time.

 

Maybe he likes Hume better than MB -personalities play a big part.Maybe there was less travel involved .

I simply do not know.

 

What i do know though-is that i am not the slightest bit concerned that he has not signed for margate-would have been a backward step in my humble opinion.

If we haven`t signed Danny then i would look at getting Lee Hook in , we would no way have been able to sign Danny and Lee together . If we can put a top goalkeeper behind our defence that will help the defence no end and help them settle .

For me-i wonder with Dover signing big defender-Mambo-whether that would make Schulz available as he seems to be struggling a bit at conf south level.
