...funny how this message board goes quiet after a win!

 

They've won 11 of 13 league games and took the scalp of C***** I***** in the 1st Qualifying Round (thank you).

 

They haven't lost since 19th September when they went down 2-1 at home to Chesham although they've kept only 1 clean sheet in the last 10 games.

 

We've only lost once in 8 games.

 

£4,000 up for grabs

 

Can we beat 'em? I say yes.

I've always been a supporter of the Blue Army and what they can do to lift a game. In fact, at times, the supporters have been the difference.

 

I'm looking forward to tomorrow and am fired up...although I have been there before and things haven't gone our way, frustration has kicked in. But a few beers (to get me going - Mick, get those Bishops Fingers in), some up beat music to fire everyone up and I am determined to enjoy the day, whatever the outcome (I think that is what has been missing from all of us to a degree...enjoyment. I know it's not exactly easy when things are not going your way...but...why the hell do we do this in the first place?).

 

Can we beat them? I'd like to think we can but whatever the result, I'll be happy just to watch a great game with our lads giving a great account of themselves (yes, I want us to win but I'll err of the side of caution...my expectations are to enjoy myself and support the club as I have always done).

We should bring about 50-60 fans i would imagine took 100 to Leighton last saturday.
