You are alone, driving a two-seater car, at midnight in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the mother and father of all storms. Rain lashing down, thunder and lightning splitting the heavens etc. etc. You get the picture.

 

You come to a bus-stop where three people are shivering, trying to find shelter from the storm.

 

The first is a 90 year old lady, crippled with arthritis. The second is an old friend who saved your life 3 or 4 years ago. [it doesn't matter how he/she saved your life - irrelevant.] The third, unbeknown to you as you haven't met before, is your perfect soul-mate, the future love of your life.

 

It's a two-seater car. How would YOU assist?

I'd drive through a bloody big puddle and soak them all...... then drive back and tell them the bus is cancelled.

I'd let the 90-year old woman and friend have both seats in the car, whilst me and my soulmate/future-love-of-my-life get wet and get to know each other at the bus stop.

I'd do that as well.

 

Although, if my friend wasn't insured and had a crash in the wet weather I'd never forgive myself..... so i'd better pull up and open the doors and we can all take it in turns to keep dry, then when the bus arrives the ove of my life can come with me!

Amongst the answers that failed the test was one who suggested running over the old lady to end her suffering, having a quick get to know you with the future soulmate and then driving home with the old friend for a few beers.

Future soulmates can't be relied upon to turn up very often and the opportunity should not be passed over. When trying to help one's fellow man, look at the broader picture. [And a few more sentences of pscho-babble].

In the heat (or wet) of the moment surly you'd look after your mate, are you saying we should treat every girl in a similat situation like that?

well its an old biddie , so despite being in desperate need she is still a woman so should therefore be ignored...

the soulmate would be a bird as well so im afraid despite this being the oppertunity of a lifetime to find true happiness you would have to knock her to pick your mate up wether he had saved your life or not because he is a bloke.. even if he owes you money and never pays it back he is a bloke and there fore more important...

if it transpires that your soulmate is a bloke then turn the airbags of in your car and drive into a tree, its for the best as you are obviously gay...
