Southend Manor deservedley beat a decent Bethnal Green side 3-2.

Manor scored through Coulson, Webster and Stanley. Stephenson netted BGU 2nd, not sure on the 1st goalscorer.

Bethnal green struck the woodwork twice, one cracking long range effort and one cross. Manor missed a Penalty around ten mins from the end along with a host of other chances in the game.

Handbags at the end, BGU substitute embarrassed himself and his club at the end by spitting full on into one of our players faces.....disgusting reaction to losing. No place for spitting in football.

Also, I heard that Mauritius drew 2-2 with Sawbo, thanks for the info Coachy!

Burnham??

burnham ended up, 4-1 in the end. very injoyable game to watch burnham started a tad slow but in the end up cruzin. also maybe one of the goals of the season young chris lewis scoring a magical goal, even colin cook i think will say the same. 2 played dismissed also.

mmmmmmmmm he means 2 sent off in the game. fentimann for bowers for an over the top tackle and small(gk) for burnham who brought down salmon in the area with about 20 minutes to play. bowers started well but burnham's class shone through with 2 fantastic goals to kill off the bowers challenge before a scrappy 3rd before half time.

I agree with Anton to be fair, most of it was just the usual handbags you get after a highly contested game........with both sides getting a bit over excited.

As for the fella who spat, that is just a disgrace.

But to be fair to Bethnal most of their players seem to agree that the bloke was a complete lunch and embarrassed himself....!!

To be fair though TIC it was Bethnal who kicked off though......the last five minutes when they were chasing the game, they became a joke.

There manager insisted not to give the ball back which the Manor kepper kicked out for a Bethnal Player who was laid down on the edge of the area, the throw went into our box...imagine they scored after there cheating antics earlier in the season. Then there player tried to tackle and follow through on our manager who was about to kick a ball on the pitch. Then that pr@t at the end, talking utter cr@p and spitting. Shocking antics. (At least the BGU players I spoke to agreed he was a complete tool)

It's no suprise that there was a few Commitee members of the referee's panel watching their conduct last night, they did'nt dissapoint.

It's a Shame, because Bethnal in the main play decent attacking football and have done really well since joining the ESL. They scored a couple of well taken goals.

I saw Anton was'nt happy with his defence!!!

We didnt cheat earlier in the season, yes the ball went off, the lino and ref made a mistake ur defender reacted anyway and i still had to go past him before scoring so its unfair to say that is cheating if u clear the ball and u know it was past the line ur not gonna tell the ref to give a goal are you,

As for the ball being put out last night no one was down and your whole defence told ur keeper that, obviously we would be in a hurry to get the ball back on the pitch when we are 3-2 down in the last couple of minutes.

To be fair though i think your manager behaved perfectly with regard to giving the ball back when a new ball was needed, unlike another club we met down the a13 last week.

I'll remain silent on defences.......LOL

WIth the incident earlier in the season......it's one of them things now. I Think the officials were the main culprits there, as with most weeks they are shocking. Saying that though, he was a decent ref last night. Firm but fair I thought.

With regards to kicking the ball out, I disagree...it only had to be thrown back in a sporting Manner but thats gone now. Luckily nothing came of it.

I was suprised by the amount of chances we had last night, looking at your defensive record before last week you had only conceeded 5 league goals. Our forwards missed a few last night.

Did you enjoy the Windy Southchurch last night ha ha, that was nothing compared to Saturday against Basildon. Thats was a full on gale

Clicking on the "1 hour ago" rather than the title takes you to the last post rather than the start. Did it used to remember what was the last post you read in the thread even if there were posts after??

Yep until last week, it remembered where in each thread you had read too. So even if there were 4 posts on this thread that you still had not read, it would take you to that point.
