Wins - 5 (2 more)

Draws - 2 (1 less)

Defeats - 7 (1 less)

Points - 17 (5 more)

Scored - 17 (6 more)

Conceded - 27 (6 more)

Gap to relegation zone - 3pts (Same as last season)

Gap to play-offs - 6pts (This time last year it was 11)

 

Only 1 team in the bottom 9 had played more games than us this time last season. This year we have games in hand on 5 of the bottom 10.

 

Out of interest, the 14th game last season was a 0-2 home defeat to Maidstone on 28th October - nearly 3 weeks earlier!

things are looking up, i tihnk we will get a mid table or top half finish this season and then next season we will push for promotion

I just want to see us in top half so when sky news gives out the ryman table-Margate always appear.

 

Quite pleased we ae not 'packing the games' in early this season as will leave plenty ogf games in second half of season when i anticipate us being stronger.

 

 

Looks like we will have only played 20/21 league games by Xmas which imo is the way it should be.

 

 

Last season with no cup runs and loads of games played with little reward-so many people had lost interest by November and gates suffered.

Personally, I believe that with the signings this week we should be right up there in the play offs this season. We still have a long way to go, and with increased fitness levels, which was clearly visible on Tuesday, we are competing for the full 90 minutes now.

Love the positivity MShot-do you think we could even win the league-not bad odds at 750/1 !!

 

For me-the signings still need to 'prove themselves'-so far-all we have seen is 20 mins from Clarke so not sure i'll get too excited just yet .Having said that-i have always maintained that we have a fine squad anyway- they just need organising and leading .

 

personally-i'll still be very happy with top half finish and hope to win the League Cup and KSC
