Another win is good no matter what, we need to find our form in the league now. a lot of new faces in the team hope they bond quickly and get us off the bottom.

Another win is good and we were better during the second half, especially when Bradley moved out to the right (that old arguement will run and run). Leyton harried and ran about a bit and did unsettle us at times but we got the result.

 

I will put a little dampener on things here though...the real test will come this Saturday and next Tuesday. Both Hitchin and Margate are no mugs and play at our level, so maybe the game won't be as frantic. So, lets hope our players play with a bit of passion, thought and guile than has been shown against other sides of their (our) standard.

I think you'll find that Hitchin play in the Southern Division One (Midlands) League, the same league as AFC Sudbury and Barton Rovers, a step below Ryman Prem!

Another potential banana skin avoided and the games in the minor cups have given us an opportunity to get a couple of morale boosting wins and have a look at quite a few players in the process.

 

We all know though league form is now critical and hopefully we can push on over the next couple of weeks and clamber away from the brown stuff.

 

Now, was it a ditch, a stream or a river - that's what I want to know!
