I've heard that VD are nu-metal hoodie skaters boyz music from Chiswell Green, all 16 years of age and not great. I've heard a couple of their songs and they're no Atomic Kitten.

I can get Clint Boon to DJ, The Inspiral carpets will play for a wad of cash, otherwise Tom Hingley will do a solo stint.

Jims Super Stereoworld (or solo Jimbob) will play as would Abdoujaparov.

I'm sure Paul S Club's new band will play.

It could be held in Clarence Park.

As for murder at the 'real' festival, as long as my tent doesn't get corderned off as part of a crime scene, i don't mind.

 

And genrally festivals aren't full of townies, however they are normally full of middle class estate agents, and these people are more annoying!

Indeed, your suspicions are correct, I was at Reading '99. It was quite good too. I've agreed with a few mates that if a line-up in a festival next year is good enough, we'll drive there for the 3 days thing, leaving early (Wednesday for Friday start). Not this year though - too busy!
