Glastonbury On TV

Having missed out on tickets for Glasto this year (gutted as there are some great acts on) I consoled myself in the thought that, well, at least it'll be on TV, and although you can't compare actually being there to watching on the box, it's something of a consolation.

 

Then I picked up a TV mag at the weekend, only to find out that that big-chinned, ugly bitch, Edith Bowman, is doing the presenting.

 

I shan't be watching.

I'm pretty sure it's not just her that's presenting! Usually they do 'shifts', as in John Peel (he'll definitley be there) presents one section, then maybe Jamie Theakston, Jo Whiley or whoever. Isn't it usually Radio One DJs that present? Is it only on the BBC?

Yeah, just on BBC2, I think.

 

You may well be right about a number of presenters - unfortunately though, it was her photo they chose to print in relation to the programmes in the TV Mag.

Well, if you think about the amount of coverage that they have to get through, I'm 100% sure it won't be just her! Anyway, she'll only be on for a little bit I'm sure!

I taped all the highlights when I was at Glasto in 1997, and when watching them back, I was caught on camera many times during Cast and Dodgy!!
