SUPER SATURDAY

Fantastic Saturday instore... Top of the league could look alot different come 4.45 on Saturday!!

Predictions???

Pressure on Aylesbury - lose and they are 8 points behind the Heath.

Chalfont lose - can they win league?

Defeat for either dunstable or Royston could make it hard for either team to win league?

Colney Heath Vs Aylesbury (game of the weekend)

Brimsdown Vs Chalfont

Leverstock vs Tring

Royston vs Dunstable

:255: grumps........lets hope Rhodes doesnt hijack it

imo Royston can win the league if Vase run doesnt interfere too much, it nearly did for Biggleswade Town last season

but will Aylesbury /Colney Heath be the Harefield of this season?

Brimsdown have been a disappointment and id like to see Tring make a go of it.....keep their lucky bench warmer happy!

Denis Wise has bought the Newcastle effect to Chalfont by the looks of it, so they will be chasing top 4 with Dunstable

and dont forget Brox Boro....they have the greatest keeper in the step 3/4/5 leagues you know!! :cheesy (2):

Relegation battle looks interesting as well......any teams not got ground grading this season?

Royston play the best football ive seen so far - lack of experience could be the difference?

Heath and Aylesbury have the experience - Bigg town had this last year!

Heath have no Vase to worry about and only left in one cup.... could help?

Brox keeper lol - loves a red card that chap!

predictions for weekend Yam Yam?

A great Saturday of football and potential bragging rights.

I'm not sure it will all be decided this weekend though! Plenty of time for those heroic moments and distaterous slip ups.

Remember Step 5 clubs have to apply by December 31st to be considered for promotion and then have their Grade E in place by close of play March 31st. Could be the moment for a club to make their break away challenge, but it could easily go to the wire again - although whether anything can repeat last seasons last seconds of deciding action is doubtful.

Royston to win and other 3 draws.....btw, im doing rubbish in the prediction league!

It's possible Aylesbury would settle for a draw with three defenders out injured at the moment.

No excuses from me, dont even know to what extent the injuries are, they may be back, should be interesting to see what team Aylesbury put out against Dunstable tonight.

On another note hows Heaths ground holding up to the latest weather we have been having?

Lots of clear days forecast this week, so should be OK. Reserves played on it on Saturday, and it felt a bit soft today, but show me a pitch at this level that will be hard and flat at this time of year. And no, the Kentish Town running track doesn't count

Oh, balls. Just invited a seven page thread hijack. I'll start the sweepstake on what time he bites on it.....

Leagues are never won in November unless you're in Russia. So, while this Saturday doesn't have a massive say in where the league goes, it will be a big confidence boost for someone. Royston v Dunstable is, for me, bigger than Heath v Aylesbury - two teams promising so much, who play with pace, but not yet wiping their feet on the Colney Heath door mat. Lose that, and I fear for the confidence of that team.

I can't wait to meet Aylesbury. It'll be a good indicator of how much belief Colney Heath have - we are better than what we've played for a while. The last really good performance was probably Royston in the Premier Division Cup.

Aylesbury FC 1 Dunstable Town 3

Amerste - Aylesbury missing players again?

Barmcake - i think the whole league will be waiting for the Heath/Ayelsbury result on Saturday.

Heath have beaten both teams - Dunstable away with ten man and Royston twice! Agree - both good passing teams but can they mix it?

It will be interesting to put the Heath against another big budget team....Heath Win - harder for Aylesbury. Pressure must be on the latter!

A defeat for Heath would only mean 1 of 6 teams could win the league....

However, a Heath win and they must be favourites?

Grumper, in answer, it got worse another defender had to limp off, so should be looking good for your boys at the weekend for the three points, although spoiling a what could have been a very good game.

Dunstable deserved their victory they played to strenghs against our weakness and good luck to them.

Aylesbury's away form is not bad at all but against top opponents - so I think it could be a draw.

Chalfont should win this easily as I saw Brimsdown against London Colney last sunday and they didn't impress.

Leverstock have had a mixed bag and Tring are a strong side. Tring to win for me.

Royston have not lost at home this season. I feel the run will continue.

I like this game... :dance (2):
