he did indeed..and got no thanks from the press for it.....

 

one wonders what you have to do in this country to get a little acclaim for sporting achievements...that guy he fought was a right handful.....

A great weekend for English sport. We won the rugby.

 

Just to let you know, we've been winning the rugby for a fair while now. It wasn't that great a surprise. A great weekend for English sport should include England beating the Brazilians at volleyball. Not winning the rugby. The achievements of Woodward's side haev been great for a fair while.

Sorry, I can't get turned on about this farcical sport any more. I used to be an avid supporter of boxing. the sport has done itself a huge diservice with more world champs than I've had hot dinners, pay per view for what is sometimes a minutes 'entertainment' and as far as I am concerned, Lewis isn't British anyway. SO THERE!

As far as I'm concerned he's Canadian. He represented that country at the Olympics and only decided to take on the British mantle again to further his professional career and boost his earnings. He is rarely in the UK and the college he set up in the east end a few years ago (which is now defunct) to help disadvantaged youngsters was nothing more than a PR stunt. Greg Rusedski is more British than Lewis because he is now a British citizen and lives in the UK. He represents us in the Davis Cup.
