Tomorrow night v Bromsgrove Rovers

Hi there,

 

I am a Bromsgrove Rovers fan and looking forward to the trip down to Beaconsfield tomorrow night.

 

I can't believe that it has been over ten years since we last played you guys in the Conference - I remember us walloping you 4-1 at our place (when you had, if memory serves, you still had Mr Hercules and up front Mark West...?!). I also remember when we squeezed past you 3-2 at Wexford Park in a right humdinger of a game (I think the year before). I guess we've both fallen on tough times since then (we're in our second administration thanks to the muppet ("Major Tom") who's been in charge since we went into freefall). Fortunately we've kept a fairly spirited fan base for this level!

 

Couple of quick questions if you don't mind:

 

How easy is it to get from Beaconsfield station to the ground?

 

Is there likely to be a decent home turn out?

Station is a bit of trek to the ground (1.5 miles) and would expect a crowd of around 220 "ish" depending on the weather. Would say you're a brave one making the journey down as wasn't expecting many to do so!

The buses stop running around 8.30pm, so you will need to get a taxi number, I guess the bar may have one.

I would also recommmend you try and find one from the station to the ground as the 74 bus service can be quite unreliable.
