Don't be like that. I'm sure you enjoyed the games against us, and next year we'll have new changing rooms and showers and stands and fences and everything (assuming we're still around!). Let's face it, Southchurch Park is not exactly the San Siro is it!

Yeah but at least we had lights in our changing rooms so we could ger dressed etc and hot showers so you could actually wash after a game!

 

And next year it is Southchurch park no more and Gardiners close, Basildon for the manor boys of last year!

But you should realise that last season we deliberately left the lights out for you as we thought you would a few Southend birds in there noshing - we thought dimmed lighting would add to the ambience.

 

The cold showers were to calm you down a bit afterwards.
