i was diappointed in Lowwestoft's performance. I do not think that they are a patch on Dartford 3 seasons ago and that is what I was expecting considering their results.

 

The performance by Town was much better than recent games and I am convinced we will make the play offs.

I know I don't always get the web site updated straight away (something to do with putting money over the Goldsdown Sports bar) but today happens to be the last Saturday of the Wetherspoon Beer Festival, so our very own web site actually had the details on it, including scorers, at 17:42, at least an hour before you said there was no other info yet.

 

Three cheers to the Picture Palace, York Coppergate, Shepherd Neame Dambuster, and Galbraith's Mr G's Luncheon Ale I think!

 

See you all at the Crosse Keys, Gracechurch Street (near Bank/Monument) tomorrow. 11am to 7pm, 24 handpump beers at any one time (so long as they don't run out).

Couldn't get up to the match,so difficult to comment on performance. However,Lowestoft are a well-run,well-funded,ambitious club who will take a lot of beating.They are up there with the best in our league this season,so to only drop two points against them in the last minutes with ten men,ranks as a pretty good result.

 

Steph thinks we can make the play-offs and I think he is right. We now have a good management team and some very good players. Hopefully,we can grind out some decent results between now and Christmas, avoid injuries/suspensions,stay in contention,and have a big push in the second half of the season.
